PrintMTG Editorial Team
The folks behind PrintMTG’s website and product.
About John Monsen
John started his career on the production side of printing, learning firsthand how ink, paper, coatings, and finishing choices behave once a product is handled, shuffled, and used.
Over two decades, he has worked closely with print shops, trade printers, and print buyers—seeing what delivers consistently, what fails under real use, and what looks good in marketing but disappoints in-hand.
On PrintMTG, John writes practical, print-focused guidance: how to get better results from your files, what production choices affect feel and durability, and what “quality” actually means when you care about consistency.
